While contemplating the things already given to me on the preceding day, this also being intermixed with the fact that my beloved Dianna had sent an email containing the offering of praise to our Lord from the previous day to Pastor Redditt Andrews; his response in desire to preserve the text in song; and the glowing Truth of the gospel of Christ in accordance with the scriptures, as spoken in 1st Corinthians 15:3-4; and, of the glory which is yet to come, the following words came to mind as a continuation of the preceding thoughts:
Through Christ in which we first received
The Truth of First Importance.
His death and resurrection speaks
With the scriptures full accordance.
Though in the tomb He lay three days
Corruption could not come.
The gates of hell could not contain
The glory of The Son!
Oh, shout the mighty anthem of
Our Saviour's gospel song,
Til in His glory we stand anew
With heaven's mighty throng.
Oh, come Lord Jesus, come restore
Your glory in all creation,
As all the groans of time give way
In glorious jubilation!*
We thank You Father for the Spirit
By which we now perceive,
But then more glorious than all Your praise
Will be Your Majesty!
